Can you please list out the differences between Blast and Blast-less Tracks




The track on a railway which is also known as the permanent way, is the structure consisting of the rails, fasteners, railroad ties and ballast. This permanent way enables trains or rolling stocks to move by providing a dependable surface for their wheels to roll upon.

Presently there are two types of track are being used in Indian Railways and Metro Rail Systems.
1. Traditional track structure
2. Ballast-less track
