The 30-km stretch from Nagole to Miyapur is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 28th. The other two corridors will also open for public very soon. As Metro is becoming operation, the real estate of Hyderabad is also booming.
Metro Rail is expected to ease the congestion on roads, it is also encouraging people to buy houses in areas which are away from the IT Zone and along the metro corridor. As a result, there is an increase in the real estate activity in residential segment along the corridor.
The building of apartment complexes already in a big way along the corridor and it is expected that land prices will rise and so will the density of people along the Metro Rail corridor.
The government is also mulling to promote high-rise housing in the areas closer to the metro station, to meet the demand and supply needs. This will help the Telangana economy positively. On the other side, the rents of the apartments are already seeing an upward swing after metro rail starts operations which are coming as a pinch for the middle and upper-middle-class community.
