Mumbai Metro Line 3: MMRCL Starts trial run for first Alstom make train

Underground Mumbai Metro Line 3 achieved a very important milestone on 30th August 2022. MMRC starts a trial run on the first train supplied by Alstom. It is a big breakthrough for this prestigious underground metro project.

On this occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis flagged off the trial runs for Mumbai Metro 3 line. MMRCL Officials were also present at the flag-off ceremony.

Brief about Mumbai Metro Line 3 Project-The work on this project started in 2016. It is stretched 33.50 km and is planned to be completed by end of 2023. The trial run will be done on a three-kilometer underground stretch from Sariputnagar in Aarey Colony temporary car shed to Marol Naka Station.
